Dr. Brandi Honaizer, ND, MSCP
Naturopathic Physician, Menopause Society Certified Practitioner
I have a passion for supporting the hormonal health of women at all stages of life. Whether this is navigating the rollercoaster of perimenopause and menopause or other hormonal shifts, you deserve to be armed with education and empowered with options to achieve vibrant health.
Passionate about supporting women during the menopause transition and beyond, I hold a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner designation as an evidence-based practitioner in the field of perimenopause and menopause care.
More About Me
I have over 10 years of clinical experience supporting women to take control of their symptoms and improve their lives and future health. I use an evidence-informed approach to developing a unique treatment plan for each patient. This involves a thorough health and risk assessment and discussion of all treatment options (lifestyle, nutrition, supplements, medications and surgery). The choice in treatment should always be yours, and each treatment plan as unique as YOU.
I completed my undergraduate studies at Vancouver Island University and became a Naturopathic Doctor in 2011 after attending the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine. I am registered with the College of Complementary Health Professions of BC, and a member of the British Columbia’s Naturopathic Doctors.
My practice focus includes:
- Perimenopause & Menopause
- Hormone Replacement Therapy/Menopause Hormone Therapy
- Women’s metabolic and cardiovascular health (prevention & management of diabetes, prediabetes, insulin resistance, heart disease)
- Polycystic ovarian syndrome
- Vaginal & vulvar health
- Menstrual wellness (cycle irregularity, PMS/PMDD, dysfunctional bleeding, hypothalamic amenorrhea)
- Fertility optimization and IUI/IVF supportive treatment
Although my focus is women’s health concerns, I also provide assessment and treatment for general health concerns such as fatigue, sleep disturbance, digestive concerns, thyroid health, acne and weight loss. I love working with couples to optimize their fertility and provide support through pregnancy and postpartum.
When I’m not in the clinic, I can be found out hiking the local trails with my family, relaxing at the lake, working in my garden, reading a good book or testing out a new recipe in the kitchen.
